    Power steering belt flies off

My power steering belt flies off if I rev over 7400 rpm. I put a new belt on and it does the same thing after a while. I have a 93 accord with a 94 H22A with the f22 ps pump. I've had it for almost 2 yrs and this just started happening.

Did you tighten the belt when you put it on? Are there any chips in the flywheel or the power steering pulley? Just make sure its tight and lubricated if it's making any squeaking what so ever.

It's definitely tight , no squeaking, new belt. At idle, everything looks fine. I just don't want to rev up to 7400 at standstill to see why it only give problems at that time. I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same problem in the past so that they can point me in the right direction before I tackle it.

u may have a bent pulley and when it spins at high rpms, the bend throws the belt off. check for a slight bend. also are all the grooves in the pulleys clean, make sure the rubber from the old belt is not stuck in the grooves. it seems that your belt is slipping because of the high rpms, the belt is not grabbing. what kind of belt is itanyway? i like gatorbacks.
