10 dollars * 1 gallon / 2.3? dollars = 10.00/2.30 gallons = 4.35 Gallons
(4.347826)
118.?? miles / 4.35 gallons = 27 mpg (27-27.14)
If you are a manual then manual oil change, engine oil change, spark plugs, air filter, 35psi when cold in tires, should get you to 30.
Depends on the gas you get though. Around here (north east texas) I get about 30.? during the summer and 27.7 during the winter.
If you want to get super technical, this isn't the best way to determine actual mileage for a couple or reasons. Your speedo doesn't read correctly...none do...mine is generally 3% off. Even our 00 accord is off, 50-55 is the only time its spot on.
But you didn't want to get super technicalLast edited by bcjammerx; 07-12-2009, 07:57 AM.____

I would just run your tank full, reset the trip meter and then when it hits the E again use that mileage divided by the number of gallons you just put in. Thats the best way to get the most accurate reading or MPG.

I got 27.5, but do what said above. I always go a little bit from full then fill her back up after I use about a half tank, then divide the miles traveled by gallons you put in to fill her up.
