Car bogging / No acceleration, Need help!

alright guys quick question for ya:

changed timing belt/water pump with seal/oil pump seal
and did a balance shaft delete.
timing is good. camshafts all on TDC along with crankshaft.
    problem we have is:

upon acceleration the vehicle starts going normally then loses power drastically. headers get glowing red hot, temp reads normal, and we see smoke coming from the engine bay. radiator gets extremely hot within a 3 min road test. any ideas!

It is a brand new OEM water pump. my ideas are the water pump is having issues. I have read several people say that the timing might be off, but its same on my car, and no issues.

As for the drivability problem? I had a similiar thing happen to me caused by a bad o2 sensor that wasn't throwing a code.

As for smoke from the engine compartment... did oil spill somewhere on the block during the timing belt job?

If the o2 sensor was bad and not throwing a code, then the car could be staying in open loop mode, and not switching over to closed loop which could explain the glowing header, and hot radiator after a 3 minute drive.

    Good luck!

x2 mines doing the same thing. just unplug the o2 sensor and see if it still does it

Smoke from the engine-bay lol getting hot lol sounds like you need to get it tuned. Header glowing red hot sounds like a lean condition.

o2 sensor got changed not too long ago, the smoke could have been from the coolant that may have gotten spilled since we changed the water pump and some cooland came off from it,

If you have EGR, when were the EGR ports cleaned last? Is the EGR Valve working properly?

the egr got cleaned like a month ago, new o2 sensor, new fuel filter, new spark plugs, cap and rotor, iaiv(however you spell that) clean, replaced the injectors, i mean my options are running short on what could be causing this, i think that if we add the balancer belt but im still not sure

Sounds like the tps or map sensor.
