gasket question

Hey I'm doin the dual spacer on my h22 intake manifold and want to know where to buy the gaskets that go in between? And around how much they go for, I'm not really sure what their called

It's excellent. I and several others have used it on our exhausts! All you really have to do is draw a bead around the outside edges of the spacer to keep outside air from getting sucked in after the filter, let it cure for a little while, then bolt everything together nice and tight. If you really want to be fussy about it, you can draw a bead around everything; outline the holes and go around the edge, but it's overkill as long as the outsides of the spacer are done.

I wouldnt risk it....because if you got a leak later on the idle will bounce and you will be replacing things that wont help it when all along it was the spacer you installed that had goo on it. But hey go for it. Lemme know how it goes!!!

By your reasoning, he could also have problems with the gasket. I've never had correctly applied silcone give out and start leaking.

Haha well some people can lay out silicone like it aint no tomorrow. But me...if I do anything with silicone its bound to be screwed up. But you are right about that copper stuff....its the shit.
