    starting problems

ok well today i replaced my water pump and my timing belt.. and i put everything back on and it turned on... than i shut if off and put the engine mount back on and went to restart it and now all it does is turn over but wont start... i have checked everything!.. ooh and i replaced my radiator too.

can you give me a list of everything i should check or things that could be wrong?

and i aligned the bottom pulley that controls the crankshaft.. and i alligned the top on by the valve cover.. and my distributor is lined so it hits the first spark plug...

    any help is VERY appreciated,

    thanks,
    bucky

Have you got spark? Check all your electrical connections.

could be your main relay, causing no fuel pump action

Then are the injectors getting power pulses?

Maybe see if you can get it to fire using some Airostart type spray.

If it was out of time it would run but run like ass or backfire. You didnt happen to take of the distributor did you?? Also check compression. That could lead you to being out of time on the belt.

Try disconnecting the alternator again and see what happens...
