    A/C recharge?

When i installed my header, i had to take the A/C line off of the compressor so the header would fit in. I released the compressed air so it wouldn't blow on me when i un-bolted the line, I know, its illegal, what ever, but now i need to recharge it i guess. i have no a/c, how do i refill it?

    Use the button.

I know there's a thread on it. How detailed it is, I can't tell you, but there's at least one here on the site.

well theres good and bad news here. if your system has been converted to R-134 then YEAH!! just pick up a bottle and recharge it. if it hasnt.. then it has to be converted, and depending on who you talk to, stories vary. some people say you can buy a conversion kit and thats enough. others say you have to change the reciever/ drier and all the seals. i havent tried either since i'm still running R-12 with no probs. unfortunately you cant buy R-12 in the states anymore so unless you've got a friend overseas, your options are limited. hope this helps!
