if anything pulling the AC compressor off itself is easy...The bolts might be covered in crap you need to use carb cleaner and spray they hell out of it. There are two on top two on the bottom...Make sure the AC lines themselves are disconnected along with the ac clutch line.

There are four long, skinny bolts that go through each corner of the cast pump and into the bracket. Remove those to release the pump and uncover the bolts to remove the bracket.

You can (technically, maybe not legally) check for coolant in the system by depressing one of the pin valves on the line with a rag & long screwdriver-try to just do it for a second and have good ventilation. It'll be like refilling a butane lighter if there's coolant in there and you should probably have it recovered/drained by someone with proper equipment.
If there's not much of or anything at all, you can just loosen the lines at the firewall with an adjustable or large open ended wrench, and remove the brackets as well as tape or cut the pump's electrical connector back. Take the bumper off and remove the condensor (is that what it's called?), the radiator looking part in front of the radiator. Remove the drier, the cylinder shaped part behind the driver side headlight.

That's everything in front of the firewall, the evaporator and lines under the dash you will enjoy getting to if you are up for a challenge. Just replacing a blower motor makes me want to take the dash out, and you'll feel the same way after only removing the glove box parts, but I don't think you have to actually take the dash out.

is there a way to do it without disconnecting the lines? i just need to disconnect it from the block and take the belt off to get the motor out correct?

is all this neccesary just to get the motor out?

Common lets not turn CB7 into all the other POS sites. As nails said if you can't clearly see the 4 bolts on it then take some carb cleaner to it and a wire brush. There is 4 12mm bolts bolting it to the bracket and 3 or 4 14 mm bolts bolting the bracket to the block.

edit: Just unbolt the compressor and tip tie it out the way if you wanna save it. Just be careful when pulling the motor out not to hit the lines.

IF you swap the motor you WILL see it. I have seen it when swapping engines its not hard to spot. You might have better luck moving the PS and Alternator aside to give you more room. I can pull the whole compressor from the top of the engine.

well this is my first time to ever attempt somethin like this and im learning alot but my motor suffered from a horrible oil leak so basically all the bolts on my driver side has a layer of oil on them lol so my driver side of the engine is black lol

Brake cleaner and spray the hell out of it. It will take it out right away. Works wonders.
