Jack up the front, remove both front wheels and check the brakes. Most likely the issue is with the front-passenger brakes, but use the front-driver side to compare it to. Look for seized brake pistons in the caliper or seized slide pins (part of caliper bracket assembly). Comparing inner and outer brake pads for flat/even wear is key. If a brake pad is not wearing flat, you have a seizure issue, as explained before.
Also, both brakes are released, both rotors should rotate with similar resistance. If this is what you did before and that is why you claim "when brakes were released they rotated fine", then I'd inspect the caliper bracket slide pins. That is more than likely why when you actuate braking, it pulls. Seized caliper pistons usually generate high wear and a lot of heat even while driving with brakes not applied.

thanks everyone, im just an idiot for not even looking. i overlooked simple shit thinking someone else couldnt have fucked up some dumb stuff. all it was, was just a way loose radius rod... both actually, but the passenger, way more.
brakes straight as an arrow now, no hands
now its onto a p72 and a tune
