Any tips on changing out the rear brake pads on our cars. I am trying to replace the ones I have in there now and the piston is so hard to turn I wonder if I need to loosen something else up to make it easier. I tried using needle nose pliers but the piston barely turns at all.I removed the e-brake cable to see if it would release any pressure(dont know if I needed to) and the thing still wouldn't budge. Help.

Don't undo the e-brake cable.
If you look at the piston on the rear brakes, you'll see that it looks like a + sign. Get a large flathead in one hand and a good grip on the caliper on the other, and turn it clockwise while wedging the end of the large flathead in flat in the +. It'll be really hard to move at first, but as the piston compresses it will get easier and easier.Former: 90 Accord EX Coupe, 93 10th Anniversary in Frost White
