I left my house yesterday and made it about 3 blocks when i noticed a loud noise that was comming from the engine bay. I pulled over and the shut car off. I didn't notice anything odd so I cranked the car again and went back to looking at the engine and immediately found the problem. My spark plug wire was jumping in and out of the valve cover. I pulled the wire out and looked down in it only to find that the top piece of the plug where the wire goes on it was broken off. What in the hell would cause this to happen?

what does the plug itself look like? if only the top piece broke, you should still be able to take it out. -
Yeah as far as I know I can still get a socket on it and just unscrew it. I was pretty busy when I got home yesterday and never had a chance to look at it more than just a few seconds. I wasn't sure if someone had this happen to them before and there was a specific reason for it happening or if it was just a freak occurence.Comment
