    could that have been bad?

So I got a new o2 sensor cause i couldnt remember when the last one was changed. I get the car jacked up, and i got the WD-40 & a wrench ready for battle, I put the wrench to the sensor and it moved and im thinking what the hell so I turn it with my hand a couple truns and its out. So I was wondering if that could have affected n-e thing?

O2 sensors aren't suppose to be torqed down real tight. But to answer your ? as long as there wasn't a exhaust leak there you shouldn't have any problems.

So a lil more than a yr later i'm getting code 1 again. So my question is you guys with h22a swaps do you have problems with your o2 sensors? What sensor are you running with your h22a?

seems like it is looking for an o2 sensor that isnt there. im not too familiar with h22 swaps but if it is looking for a o2 signal then you have to tap into your existing o2 setup and if it is looking for a heater circuit, you need to run a resistor.

The f22a4/a6 O2 sensor is fine for a h22 swap. Just make sure you get a NTK or Denso. Also, what harness did you use? If you swapped over the f22a4/a6 harness, the o2 sensor should plug in just fine with no problems. Just make sure it's plugged in tight. If you had to extend your wires from using a f22a1 harness (wired for the o2 sensor on the manifold), you may want to check your wiring.

Heres the thing the plugs are different from a1 to a6. the one I need is the male end and the I dont know what eng it was for but I got one for the 91 ex but the plug was a female end. So my question is does it matter what yr or model?

they do differ but personally id just cut the plug off and use the one you need.

If you used the harness that was in your car already, then use the coinciding oxygen sensor. I think the o2 sensor that came on all 4th gen 'Ludes is the same as what was on cb7 ex models.

The only thing is that the ends are different from car to car/ sensor to sensor. you know male and female ends.

your male/female plug issues come from buying cheap "universal" sensor and cutting the plug and rewire is easier said then done since such sensors all use different wire colors / patterns, alleviate the stress and get a ngk/ntk or denso as stated
