No.
Just the power steering pump itself. You don't need to remove the bracket. The alt and alt bracket are attached to the block.

if you're weak and feeble and doing it by yourself, then yeah I'd suggest taking those brackets off, they add about 20 lbs to the weight of the head. But this should help you: 2nd post in this thread has the complete helms manual PDF files of doing a HG. Helped me when I had to do mine last summer:
