OK guys and gals, here is a good tech question for all of you.
I went yesterday into NJ to do grocery shopping, drop off a set of old knuckles I got from 90LXKing and get gas (since in NJ it is cheaper than NY).
well I shut the car off at the gas station, took off the gas cap and proceeded to fill up. I got back in the car and turned the key and the car only cranked without starting. OH SNAP !!, my stomach turned over twice. I pushed the car off to the side and sat for a few minutes every so often cranking the engine. Finally after @ 5-10 minutes I tried again and it started fine.
I'm leaning toward a diagnosis of a problem in the fuel system. I plan on changing the fuel filter (can't remember when it was changed last). But do you think it might be a problem with the fuel pump starting to give up the ghost?
Ideas are helpful, thanks in advance
