    Hard starting when warm? Thoughts?

OK, this has heppened a few times, but it seems like it might be starting to become a bigger issue.

A couple of times I have stalled the car while parralele parking ... or just because Im not paying attention. After I stall it it WONT restart for about 10minutes... Cranks fine and the starter sounds good, but it just dosent fire.

Today, I shut the car off normally, first at the gas station then later at the pizza joint. At the gas station, the car was running fine as per normal, but when I started it it cranked about 3 times more then normal. About half an hour later (wihout having shut it off) I shut it off at the pizza joint, again we running as per normal, but when I tried to re start it , NO DEAL. I had to wait about 10 minutes ... then it started fine.

Has anyone had a similar issue, or any idea what it could be? The fact that its intermitant only makes it harder to diagnose.

Check your main relay and ICM (Ignition control module) inside the distributor.

main relay. happens to me wen i shut off the car n try n start it within 10 minutes. try turning on the car (wait till the cel turns off) then start it. this helps me out.

to fix the relay jus resolder the connections. search the diy section for a write up. common problem on cb's.

take your cuise control computer out and tap on the relay the next time it does that and it should start right up. I use to carry a long extension just for that but ended buying a relay.
