This Doesnt Look Right... See Photos

OK, I have been living with this hissing noise for a while now, and I have always figured it was my exhaust and have ignored it. It seems to only happen at certain RPM's and sometimes louder than others. I was looking under the hood and found the following, it just doesnt look right, it looks as if there is a vacuum line missing from the exposed nipple. Is this right? If something is supposed to be connected to this, could someone please tell me what it is and how i re-connect it?

    Thanks...

Should I get a cap or does it really not matter?

The breather cap ws missing off mine for the longest too. I just cut up some mesh and glued it over the hole. but yeah just go to the junkyard and pull the breather off any accord and you'll be set. It keeps dirt particles out and lets the trans. vent.

the cap keeps dirt and moisture out of the transmision while allowing it to be vented. later.

well my trans broke the shif selector bolt the other day, so when i opend he top cover i saw a lot of of moisture and dirt and shit
then i figured all the times i washed my engine and all that water going into that breather
so i suggest capping the bitch

but yes it is a good idea to get a cap.. just hit up the JY and see if you can source one out.. if not just check Honda.
