Well well. I got my Remanufactured axle and yeah!. Got all the tools to do it. on friday night. Tryed to do it and guess what I couldnt get anything apart. I talked do some people here.

Then since i couldnt do it i returned all the tools so yesterday (saterday) I went and got eveyrhting again...I come back its like 3pm I get going on this.

I got it all apart and was kinda happy. I did it all by myself because noone was around to help me. Then i got the new axle in.. I tryd to put it in the hub and the thing wouldnt go in!. I was trying for like an hr or so getting pissed off and it started getting dark out.

Then todd came over and i asked for help andhe just sat there like an idiot.. XxChOIdVaCxXX on here and im like wtd dude help So yeah that was no luck then my other friend came and said he didnt want to get dirty

So heres me in the dark with this blue led keychain light trying to do this. Some other kid comes and i call the place wehre i got the axle and said mine might have a defect.

I go back get a new one and come back. Everyone goes home and i Bust it all out in like 10 min. Im like dammit The axle musta been messed up..

So now no more clicking etc! But my brakes are still fucked. Im gonna go back to Midas and yell at them this time..

First and foremost, congrats on replacing the axle(s?). secondly, what's wrong with your brakes? and finally, how much did it cost you for the axles and where did you get them from? I'm driving myself crazy trying to find replacements for mine. The cheapest I find are the $210 ones that are designed as a stage I axle upgrade. I don't need that, just a replacement or two. Thanks.

            Out.

The axle i got was 115 at Consumer Autoparts. There is a 45$ Core so that brings the price of the axle when all done with to 60$. Also check into autozone. Maybe i can send you an axle from here or something if you send the money. Let me know

yeah man good job on the axle replacement,...i replaced mine like 3 weeks ago...the shittiest part was removing the lower control arm from the knuckle....but no more clicking for me, which is nice...but i do hear a pop when i go in reverse, then it pops again when i drive back in D4....hmm wonder what that could be?
