i dont think you would have to plug those off considering theres not going to be anything coming out of them...

    just my thinking.

I would loop them just to be safe.

You don't have to plug the lines. You could clog them with dirt and there would be no difference. The lines for the tranny cooler are seperate and use "heat exchange" to cool the ATF.

Yea ull b fine bro I askd the same question as u like a couple weeks ago and type g helped me out and I put in my automatic radiator and it works perfectly fine your gonna have to squeeze it in tho cause those hoses get stuck on the bottom. good luck.

You don't have to plug it. You could use it as an oil cooler, not sure if it would help much but it could.

the air within the tranny cooler needs to circulate in order to keep the coolant fresh and cool.

I think you misunderstand how the transmission fluid cooler works.

Inside the bottom rad tank is a coiled up length of tubing through which the trans fluid is pumped, losing heat into the engine coolant as it does so (I know the coolant isn't particularly cool, but it's colder than the trans fluid because auto boxes are inefficient and can get very hot, which is why conventional auto boxes use more fuel).

There is no air flow specifically or directly involved with cooling the trans fluid, but ultimately the heat is lost through the rad fins via the coolant. There is absolutely no need to block, loop (or whatever) the trans fluid tubes if they aren't being used, it has no affect one way or the other on the cooling system when the 'auto' rad is used in a manual car. Just ignore the tubes altogether.

                          John.
