    Sweet, I think I'll run without it for a tank and then with it, and see what kind of difference it makes. Thank you for your input.

      It helped my idle from being so lopey and erratic when I had the Delta 272 in my SOHC...

        I'm making mine from a soda can. I was told you can also use a piece of old headgasket.

            A friend made it for me from some sheet aluminum... it's pretty thick and he did an awesome job...

            Willie/aka v4lu3s on HS...he might sell you one for a decent price...

            But you can also just use 1 or 2 layers of soda can with some copper sealant gasket maker goo...works exactly the same and is what I was using before I got the plate from Willie...
