    Transmission Q's

Hey whats up, Ive got a 1992 CB7 with the F22a1 Engine and Auto Tranny, It shifts a bit rough but with no slipping and would like to know what steps that I could take other then a flush to get it to shift a bit smoother, when I am accelerating, the depress the pedal, anywhere from 1 to 3rd gear, it tends to jerk a bit? would cleaning the shift sylinoids make any difference?

Thanks in advance, I looked and searched the threads but came up dry, there is a about a million combinations now with how many people are on here.

    Thanks again

    Don't flush it.

Drain the old fluid and get the Honda ATF. Thats about the only thing the tranny is picky about. The right fluid.

I did a full flush about a year ago with some Pennzoil ATF-Z1 compatible Import ATF, took about 8 quarts but was well worth it, shifts nice and firm.
