    E-brake light

    I have a 1992 accord ex sedan /w 4 wheel disc brakes

I have this problem with my brakes. Every time i go around a turn the "brake" light comes on! And when it is really cold it will come on and stay on. Also the ABS lite has come on a couple of times when it was really cold. What is wrong with it and what do I need to do to fix it?

or the float switch thing on the cap of the MC might be going bad.

thats true....just check your MC....check fluid level and maybe replace the MC? i dont know how you would check to see if its going bad.

Yeah my brake fluid levels are down... I should have checked that first.

Dumb question > what does the "Brake" light mean. does it mean the fluid levels are low? If so why does it come on when the emergency brake is engaged?

It comes on to let you know that the E-brake is engaged, just in case you forget or didn't know, and that there is a problem in your brake system.

Mine came on exactly during the time it was -20 deg. But i realized that my braking went worse and found out my brake pads are going out.
