Need Help About Intake Asap

ok, i jst installed a short ram today.. and i took it for a drive and the rpm is getting stuck which pulls the car up.. idk wat to do.. this shit is dangerous i know coz everytime i brake, the car keeps going because of the rpm.. i plugged in the hose on the VC and plugged the air boost line... i need help asap!!!

There's a little screw on the left side of the intake manifold. Just unscrew it a little and see if ur rpm's lower.

if you unscrew it lets more airflow through that little hole, which would make the rpm's higher

if you tighten it reduces flow and should make rpm's lower.

the rpm is fine but when im cruising down, it gets stuck for some reason... but ill try that too.. any other suggestions???

for example, i put it in reverse and the rpm is like over 1500-1700 which makes the car move faster...

heres wat i did.... took out the stock intake. put the other one in.. capped off the air boost valve hose, put the hose that connects the intake pipe to the VC, and thats about it. theres still one nipple sitting unplug on the intake piping, is that the reason???

It shouldn't be. Make sure that you don't have any vacuum lines in the way of your throttle linkage, and you might as well run a line from the ABV to the intake pipe, since you have a place to hook it up. Then pull the ECU fuse under the hood, turn your lights on for a few seconds to drain any residual juice in the system, pop the fuse back in and see if it helped.

Wait , I think it's because you capped off the Air Boost valve. Happened to me when there was a blockage on the Air boost vaccum line.

x2 man.. i took out the plug on the airboost valve man. and it stopped works fine now... thx a lot guys.. wait.. can you just put in like a foam to filter the air comin in to the air boost valve??? yeh coz before you said plug the air boost valve... lol jk tol... bigyan kita ng banana-q... LMAO!
