    recomended shock-absorber for accord91 4ws

    Hi, guys
I've been searching many site about the good shock absorber for my car.
When i ask local dealer, they offer honda part which taken from kyb product and re-label as honda part.
Any ideas about other product comparison like koni, blistein, tokicu ...? which is recomended for accord'91 at this forum ?
Also, why 4ws has more expensive rear-suspension price than 2ws?

    thx

Tokico blues suck. Tell they aren't that bad, they just don't feel that good to me.
bottom line if you do want tokicos get illuminas.

I personally reccomend Neuspeed Koni Yellows with Neuspeed race springs.

                Tokkico Illuminas are good..
My frined has it on his 96 Integra and ride quality is great!

KYB AGX .. if car is lowered more than 1.5" warrenty is void..

I'm very happy with my Illuminas and also VERY jealous of your 4ws.

I Think 2ws is good, less maintenance budget&spare part.
Even our local spooring&balancing service confuse how to line up this 4ws correctly.

Bah 4ws is so overrated (actually people just seem to like the abbreviation).. All it does is barely pivot the rear wheels when you're backing up..thats it... I drove a prelude with it, and it makes almost no noticeable difference. I dont get the point for having it in north america. If you cant properly steer a prelude or an accord in reverse out of a parking spot (with only 2 wheels that turn), why even bother driving!! HAHA

I drove my friend's prelude from which I took out his engine and had it installed in my car and his 4ws was very noticeable. Turn in was much smoother and parking was MUCH easier.

As far as shock absorbers, by far the KONI Neuspeed Yellows are the best I have EVER ridden on. They are best paired with Neuspeed Race springs. By far the best suspension I have ever ridden on EVER!

I also recommend you read the "Rate your suspension thead" started by hybrid90accord. It may help you with a suspension setup.

Uhm, it doesn't only work in reverse. Its a mechanical system similar to the ~90 4WS 'lude. There's a shaft between the front and rear racks.

EDIT: I wonder if it was meant to combat understeer.......
