The sports mode problem...again

Hi,

I have the sports mode problem that so many here have discussed.
The car wont go over 3rd gear and yes I hear a mechanical type clicking sound from where the shifter is. The sports mode goes on and off at will.
I read through everything and have the following results.
My shift solenoids are fine, I got them checked.
The error codes that I got were 1,2,7,8 and 14.
But after I reset the TCU, i got no codes.
Now should I proceed and get a used TCU from a junkyard or would you guys advice some other type of troubleshooting before that.

1-Lock-up solenoid 'A' circuit open or shorted.
2-Lock-up solenoid 'B' circuit open or shorted.
7-Shift Solenoid 'A' circuit open or shorted.
8-Shift Solenoid 'B' circuit open or shorted.
14-Linear (line pressure control) solenoid open or shorted.

Replace the solenoids on your transmission.

Do you know where I could get those or should I just purchase a tranny from the junkyard, change the solenoids and keep the rest for parts?

Also, do you know how do they look when you actually open the hood, I think I have a clue, I'll take a picture in the morning and post and maybe someone can confirm it for me.

Just yank one of a yard. It's easy to spot , they are twins next to the tranny dipstick.

i would still buy a tcu just in case.
