lights dim at idle

Whenever i'm driving and come to a light or something my lights dim down, also i notice my heater doesn't blow as hard either. as soon as i push the gas the lights brighten up and the heater gets stronger....any ideas? i just put a new alternator in about 3 months ago.

maybe thats what it is again
take your alternator and battery down to an auto zone and have them test them both

You can buy higher output alternators, if it comes to that. Mine does something similar, when I turn on my lights my rpms go down....I don't think much of it though,lol.
