    Sprung a BIG leak?

I have no clue exactly where I am leaking at all I know that it's coming out the timing cover, before i had the motor swapped the motor in i replaced the bal. shaft, rear main, and front main seals. Since it is an f22b1 i replaced bal. shaft seal retainer,I have to put oil constantly. This my only car I have and I daily drive it for the line of work that i do,so I have no other option for transportation. I don't have an engine hoist or other tools to take a look where it is coming from so I need ideas.

P.S When I drive, it sprays oil on to the under hood of my car the whole left side of my engine bay is covered in oil i need to fix this soon,so please hepl me out guys I might have to stick out till after X-mas to fix it.

Will post pics when I get off work. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

wash the engine bay, it will be much easier to pin point the leak.

definately one of your seals is going.

Yeah I already popped the hood and had my friend rev the engine a little it's coming from the lower timing cover and when the car is off it drips from the lower timing cover.

could be a seal or the oil pump. Next step,u should take the covers off and check. Sux dood.

omethng that I noticed,my temp gauge goes up to about half way and stops I still have that leak and don't know where it's coming from. Now what I'm asking is could my head gasket be the reason why my gauge goes up that high and have an oil leak, note that I have coolant and replaced my water pump and t.stat before the motor was dropped in.

Once the oil pump is pulled can it be re used? Like for example could I replace the O-ring and reinstall the old pump?

Are you sure its not the cam seal? Even if you replaced it, if you dont get the seal all the way in place, the cam gear will dig into it and cause it to leak. NTM, leaky cam seals are often miss-diagnosed as head gaskets.
