put some radiator fluid in for now as you might be low.

blast the heater constantly as that turns on your heater fan and pushes heat from the engine bay into your cabin.

Remove your front grill for more airflow into the engine?

Get a coolant flush? It's seriously a white knob and a removal of a radiator cap away from being drained and filled.

even though it is more work that just flushing the radiator but i would just remove the thermostat, replace the seal bolt back up the thermostat housing and fill whatever fluid was lost with water, that plus keeping your heater on with your windows down will keep it under hot

+1. I don't think your car is over heating because you need a coolant flush.

yeah I always ran with the heater on full blast, and cut the engine off when I was stopped

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

I already blast the heat with the windows down but it overheats when im stopped after the cars been running for more than 10 mins.

If you cheap out now you will be spending much more when you do more damage. Do the fans kick on... Did you test the thermostat?

Change T-stat and flush it really good. Could throw and additive in it to if you wanted. In the meanwhile turn the heat only and cruise with the windows down, also the removing grill sounds like a good idea too.

Removing the grill won't do anything.
