Speedometer

so i noticed the other day that my speedometer is off my 6 mph. so the car will say im doing 50 but im really doing 44. i noticed this because i kept driving past these radars on the side of the road to tell you how fast you were going and everytime i did it was off by 6. I did this a couple times to see if it did it everytime and it did.

anyone know what could cause that to happen?

is there anything i can do to get it back to the right speed or do i just have to get back to stock size?
