I did it, i broke my motor mounts

So, i was going home from work and a 2000ish mustang 4.6 was intaganizing me to race.We pulled up at the lights and he i got the start, as i hit 4gs he pulled away alittle, then i nailed second and i was walkin him about a half a car.I hit third and thats when i felt it.....felt like my motor slammed the hood of som sheet!!!!

i didnt really care cause i was so happy i just smoked an asshole in a rustang but i feel my motor shaking now. I can see the front is broke, and i bent the arm, no biggie, but the side mounts look like the motor has move over to the driver side.Do i have to realign my motor ? or could i just put new mounts in?

I cant find a thread on replacing the side mounts.

when i replaced my mounts i lifted the car with a jack, then lifted the motor with another jack.. whatever side your fixing lift that side so the mount can clear the chassis. if your replacing the back mount, put the jack in the back of the motor and lift the back of the motor, same with all the other sides some use cherry pickers BUT i'm not that fortunate

yea i just went and bought used mounts, and poly filled them. what do you think about aftermarket solid poly mounts? is anyone running them? i dont care about vibration, i want my motor to not move at all.
