OK I got a new car this week. It’s a manual 93 CB7. The gauge cluster is out of an automatic and is not working very well. The speedo will just dance around and then not work at all. I thought it was the VSS but to my surprise the new VSS did not fix the problem. I removed the gauge cluster and found this
