depends on what u want, perforamnce, grip, all seasons, summer, winter tires...
do u live where there is snow, rain etc. What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

195/60/15 is about the same as 205/50/15 with the latter being a little wider. IMO go with the 205/50/15

the wider the tire the better grip u got going to the ground.
this tire is no where near bouncy. maybe he had some cheapo brand...
no tire is created equal, u take my tire compare it to another tire i bet you there will be a difference. What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

185/70 14 is stock on the LX
195/60 15 is stock on the EX.
I have an LX and went to EX wheels. I have BF Goodrich Touring T/A's. They're really good tires. My fronts wore out fast, but I think I have to take the blame for it. I noticed a huge improvement over the 185/70 Regatta's I had on there. If you live in an area where snow is not an issue, I'd try to get tires that are more aggressive than all seasons, just for traction issues. If I ever get bigger wheels (17's) I'm going with summer tires and switching to all season in the winter. It all depends what you want.
I know that you can run different sizes but I know it will mess with your Speedo, how much, I don't know, but it happens. A lot of people say its nothing to worry about. I have never dealt with it personally, but I just wanted to bring that up.

bf tourings wear a bit more faster due to its design on our cars, but as my research concluded the bf tractions last alot longer.
as for the spedo thing, mine is off about 5 mph...that about it, it aint bad, but it looks hella better! hehehe...
u guys think he can do better than the 195's 14?What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

He could do 205/60/14 ....wider tire and smaller sidewall will provide better grip and less sidewall flex.
If you go to that site I listed it also shows speedo changes .
Going from 185/70/14 to 205/60/14 because of revolutions/mile is different the new tire size will be going 2.1% too fast (speedo shows 60 you're going 58.7)

Well you probably don't want cheapie tires, but I got the cheapo upon cheapo tires at sears for $28 each. Can't say they grip that great...but I was comparing to other crappy tires but the old ones were crappy and bald. I'd get ones with some stronger sidewalls, I did a 180 in my car with the handbrake and the tire came off the rim...didn't pop or anything but just came off the rim...pretty crappy. So get some probably around $50-$75 range, they will be a lot better.

Damn..didn't get my new tires soon enough. After a lite rain today i slid right into the rear of an excursion...knocked out drivers side headlight..and bent my hood..also, got a nice dent where his towhitch is, also bent the radiator cross bar..all together the man at the junk yard wants 680 for parts and labor...to me that seems a bit steep..what do yall think.
