Haven't read this whole thread, but the service manual says the correct way to bleed the system is the right rear, front left, left rear, front right

When your brakes 'self apply', does the brake pedal become stiff with zero free movement at the pad, and to move the pedal at all requires a very hard push?

If so then you need to adjust the pushrod (the rod between the pedal shaft and the master cylinder), making it shorter until you have at least 5 or 6mm of free play at the pedal pad.

Alternatively you can adjust the 'up' pedal stop outward, though this will raise the pedal further outward from the bulkhead / firewall (the 'up' pedal stop doubles as the brake / stop light switch).
