I didnt know if this was an appearance thing or technical so here it goes. My wagon keeps FRYING HID ballasts. I cant figure out whats going on to save my life. I put a regular bulb in and they dont blow out so I know thats not the problem. The fuse is the right amperage and has never blown out. The only thing I know that would do it is my wig wag box. Which makes your headlights flash side to side. I have these because im a firefighter and people move out the way if I have em on. Its always on the passenger side.

try taking out the "wig wag" and see if it still does it. but i have a separate relay, well not a relay but another set of wires that plugs into my 9006 plug and then goes back into the ballast and then some D2S wires coming out and plugging up to my TSX projectors, I havn't had any issues since i put em in back in april.

The ballasts are very sensitive to power spikes, especially being flashed like you said.
Try running the box to a separate set of lights ie. strobes, and that should cure your problem. I've been dealing with HIDs for over two years now and have seen this before. Hell I even warrantied out a few ballasts, not know of this problem!!!
Hope this helps.

Well the thing is the wig wags of course are hooked up to my high beams but the HIDs are on the low beams. Idk but I ripped out that blasted wig wag box. I think what happened was that the internals in it got stuck because I would have the box switched off but would flash when I kicked on the high beams. Ill see whats up but I hate those fuckin halogens now....
