    opinions on clutch and flywheels

well before you say anything i have read over 20 pages of searching and everyone has different opinions of course but i keep trying to pm certain people but it takes forever to get a response.

I have been looking at getting a centerforce clutch but only found one on ebay and thats not where i wanted to buy it. i have also been looking at an lsd clutch.

    here are my 2 questions

    1. what kind of clutch would you suggest for a fairly stock car?

    2. what weight flywheel and what brand would you suggest?
    Maple50175 - you're annoying =P
Brandoncb7 - I don't mean to come across like an ass but I see why you irritate Aaron now.
JoshM - Crotch rocket = chick magnet.

From my experience, I've used an F1 light fly with an exedy oe replacement. No complaints here. The flywheel was a nicely machined piece, and the clutch, well oem replacement by exedy, what more needs to be said. I think the flywheel was an 11lb but I weighed it in at 10.5 That combo is very drivable also btw. Hills and stuff are no problem, real close to stock.

      i got you man.

Flywheel: Fidanza ( i love it, lost torque in lower end but revs better). ACT (enjoyed it in my civic with D-series)

ACT Prolite Flywheel: NOT really good for daily driving. More racing/autocross, shit like that. more power for what u use it for.

ACT Streetlite Flywheel: the best of both worlds.. racing/autocross. great for daily driven.

Clutch: Centerforce dual friction (best of both worlds 90% holding capacity)
ACT pricey (stage 4 is a no-no, seen rivted break apart, DD a NO-NO)
COMP CLUTCH (came with everything, cant camplain. installed one in a 01ITR...good for the price)

At the end it comes down too you and only you. choose with skill

wow thats nice. how much did it run you?

so dual friction is recommended on stock (well around stock) hp?

according to the shop that made it, that clutch can hold power up to 280-300hp, im probably pushing about 200 or 195 hp on my H. it ran me 145bucs.

I wouldn't bother with anything better than Exedy OE replacement. If you aren't pushing mad amounts of power, why waste money?

ACT's are badass clutches but a exedy oem is exactly what you need.
