normal idle speed?

I idle around 1500 when i first start my car in the morning, then usually it idles around 800, my clutch is messed up but i dunno if that does anything to it.

also i'm wondering how my engine should sound. cause when i put my head close the the engine while its running i'm not sure if its supposed to sound like it does, no heavy knocks or anything, but i deffinetly here something...any audio of what it should sound like?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but if the engine hasn't been on for some time and has cooled down, it'll probably start up around 1500 then come down to probably 800

also as for addtives to my fuel tank or oil...any good things, octane booster...oil stuff?

You don't really need any octane boosters unless you want a higher octane, in which case I reccomend just filling up with that octane.
