    Water Leak

Well its been raining like crazy in Boston for the past couople of days. So all of a sudden i went to go take my bookbag out of the trunk and my bag was wet in the bottom, so im guessing i have a trunk leak! So i clean it all up and as im cleaning it ive noticed that the previous owner of my cb7 screwed about 6 screws to the chrom trim on the rear windshield. So i decided to take out the trim and i noticed that i had no clips for the trim.So i took out the whole trim on the rear windshield and im going to go check if honda sells it. So today I was getting my shirt for work and it was soaked. so now im like wtf: !!!

Can someone plz help me out. Im getting fustrated and i dont want to get rid of my cb7. Imma see if i can post pics up tommorow maybe that may help.

Front & rear window trim is not cheap from OEM, had to do this for front & rear windshield.

Anyhow, based on personal experience, you may have more than just that rear trim being a leak issue. Of top of head, here is a list of what can cause trunk leaks:

    - tail light gaskets leak (inner & outer), even new should be RTV/silicone applied
    - rear/left side trunk vent
    - rear/left antenna mount hole & drain hose for it
    - sunroof drain hose leak inside trunk or plugged
    - trunk main seal leak
    - corrosion under trunk main seal, raised metal edge/wall
    - rear window not seals properly or corrosion at base
    - rear bumper mount holes into trunk, not sealed properly

      As above thanks to Hondafan81
On my last 2 CB's I've had the major issues being:
      Tail light gaskets
Main trunk seal (specifically the steel lip it mounts to rusting)
And the rear window trims rusting where the clips go, As below:

I cut all the rust out and welded a steel plate in there.

but my car is also leaking inside the car, rear seats i put a towel done there today and the towel has brown drops on it. Ive been looking all around the car to see where its coming from and i noticed a couple drops coming from the rear coupe window. There were like 2 drops on the handle...??? Where is that coming from...???

well thats another problem. if you go through the list that hondafan listed for you, im almost positive you will find the leak.

As for the leak inside the car, try pulling the headliner off and see if one of your sunroof drain hoses popped off. also check the rubber seals around the rear coupe windows.

and if that doesnt work u can always come over and ill check it out, im in boston too.
