    Damn ABS light....

Ya I did a search but nothing came up.

    Here's the deal:

Go out and start my car, no problem with the ABS no matter how long the car sits and idles. But as soon as I put it into first and ease the clutch out, the ABS light pops on.

Anyone know the cause of this?

Your ABS resivor for fluid is probably empty.. remember EX's with ABS have to resivors for brake fluid. I had the same problem, I think it's the one on the driver side for teh ABS and the other side is the regular brakes.

Have you checked to see what code(s) are stored in the ABS module?

Any update on the problem? I'm pretty sure it's just one of your resivors is too low.. lot of people don't notice EX's have 2 instead of 1.

You don't need a scanner to check ABS codes on a CB7.
In your trunk on the right hand trunk panel, there should be a round plastic plug. Removeing this plug should let you see the ABS module LED. Turn the ignition ON, but don't start the engine.
Check the ABS LED in the trunk. IT should be flashing a code(s).

Are you ever going to check your fluid level?

It takes 30 seconds at the max, and we'd like to get this problem resolved as soon as possible! hehe

another dumb thing, but check the abs fuse under your hood..I drove with mine out for a few days, till I got to honda to get a new fuse..see, my bro blew my ignition fuse, so I swapped the 2..since, my car needed to run, more then it needed to brake with a computer..lol

                          Welp....problem solved

Took the "Don't bother it and hopefully it will fix itself" approach and guess what. No more ABS light. Gotta love the honda self-diagnostics. Haha
