Idle RPM's go up and down when at idle

    Idle control valve gone?

this is on my 90 accord. I'm dumb and forget what would cause this. It's super annoying. When im at idle or stopped the car revvs up and down..

Let me know what could cause this and I will get it replaced asap

    Thank you!

Um adjusting that screw does nothin to fix your jumpy idle.

              My order:
              1. Might be air bubbles in your coolant lines.
              Bleed if so.
              2.Clean IACV.
              3.Clean FITV.
4.If that dont help, Replace them.

Uhm...actually...yes it does...this was EXACTLY the problem I had and fixed by adjusting the idle screw.

I shall elaborate as I can see in your eyes you doubt me...do this, and humor me for a second...that vacuum line coming from plenum going to the pcv valve? Unplug it from the plenum...notice the engine now revs up down up down etc...

Know what happens when the idle screw is too far out? SAME thing as a vacuum leak...it lets too much air in. I know because this is how I fixed MY idle issue (just like the op's). Mine would loosen itself after 3 weeks, so I ended up doing all this other crap for no reason...more than once...then I put a new gasket on the screw...problem solved!

SO first check to make sure your idle is actually SET right...if it isn't and you skip this...you'll be fixing shit for no reason wasting your time.

I've had a shit load of air in my coolant and it never did this...but it's easy to check so why not

                THEN check your iacv
                then your fitv
then if still no go check for vacuum leaks around gaskets.

i actually had that problem after a little game with a celica. well all i did was clean my air filter and i used some intake cleaner on the TB. i think my MAP sensor was dirty because my filter was filthy.
