Now it's the cruise control...What's next?

Ok...Now that I fixed my speedometer and I'm all happy about it, I pretty much got rid of all my electrical problems (pretty much had them all) except for this brake lamp light that goes on often...It is due to a connection problem at the tails though so I'll figure it out. Anyway...Just before my speedometer fucked up (VSS) when it used to work, so did my cruise control. I tried it the other day for fun not even thinking a second that it would work but I guess it's not an electrical problem I had yet so it had to happen. I press the cruise button, it lights up. I then press set on my wheel and the light on the cluster even goes on. The problem is that it does not maintain speed at all or even do anything. It just says it works but it doesn't. What could be the fucking problem this time?

    Thanks.

And check the cable going to the throttle body.

check that the diaphram around the throttle cable into the module is tight.
