No Pressue In Brakes and "Jumping Idle"

Ok so I am almost positive that its not the Master Cylinder and I will be bleeding my lines tommorow. But just in case its not either of those what else would I look for? I have got to have this fixed by friday so I can take a trip.

Here is what is happening. If the car is off the brakes are stiff and once the car is turned on the brakes go to the floor with almost no resistance. Now if the brakes are pushed all the way I can get the car to stop but I just really dont want to mess up my brakes or have to use my ebrake. Any idea on what this could be and if I do have to take the trip (2hrs away) how bad is it going to be for my car?

As for the idle it used to only jump when the car was warming up but now it does it the whole time that I am driving and its killing my gas. Any ideas guys?

yea, if it was the booster, it would be a consistent hard brake pedal with no leverage on the brakes.

it's not hard to replace the master cyl, get one from autozone or whatever it costs half as much as the honda one-liek $35 instead of $70. I did and it has lasted 4 yrs so far.

make sure you have like one foot extensions for your ratchet or you'll never be able to do the job though.

It's handy to have a spare cotter pin for reconnecting the clutch pedal to the master cylinder drive plate (or whatever it's called)

Well is there bubbles in ur coolant? If so then bleed.
Could be other things such as FITV or Idle control valve.
