Transmission mount issues

I had a dad transmission so im swapping a used one it.


5gen mounts.

is the new one I have

P2a5
Is the old one


New trans ... Has a plate under the motor mount and my old one did not have that plate. My old mount is black and the rust one was on the transmission as I got it and is the same as my old mount besides that plate.

You are putting a 4th gen tranny in a 5th gen accord. You need to move the stud locations on the 4th gen tranny. Drill and tap the bosses and move the studs over.

The two outside hole in the fifth gen mount do not line up to anything. I cant find a location to tap as far as the fifth gen mount to wide. The transmission that was in my car has a bigger surface as in the pics. The new transmission was pulled from a fifth gen but I am not going to hack it into my car like that mount it.


If you look at the first and third pic the that extended surface on the stud towards the firewall is not there on the new transmission.

Are you sure you have the right mount? When I did this before I didnt have any problems, except switching the studs.

I dont remember what the 5th gen mount looks like but its very different from the 4th gen.

I have two fifth gen mounts... Should I be using that or a forth gen mount?
