    Nice noise

    Yesterday i was watching the TV "Fast and Furious"
    and when they gonna start the race and they accelerate they make a noise, something like air pfffff, pffff, i know it's hard to know what im talking about but if someone know how to make that sound, please help me i really like that sound.

    Help will be appreciated.

    well i dont remember what youre talkiing about but im going to assume its the bov... or at least what the producers think one sounds like.

      Not being a dick or anything, but im assuming you haven't been around too many performance hondas/acuras/mitsubishis.

      I am almost POSITIVE your talking about the blow off valve. TO get that sound you actually need a turbo. Will only run you 2 or 3 grand.

      Nice power gains though!

        Here where i'm living the people don't have great car's they only make mods for the exterior and not the motor, that's why i didn't recognize the sound.

        Turbo will be a good option in a year with the right amount of money.

          cooo. No prob man.

          Turbo's are a LOT of work and money. Try bolt ons first.


          Header, exhaust, intake. Go from there.

            that's the BOV for sure.If you are good at it,you can get some junk yard turbo and build yourself.Nice and cheap.

            Angels East,Angels West,North and South,just do your best,to guard her and watch her while she rests.

                  Again that is for a third gen firebird/camaro with throttle body injection, so I dunno if its possible on a 4th gen accord or not...

                  But it does make a sweet wooshing sound as air gets sucked in!

                  If you can find a way to stick it on its 30 bucks at autozone w/ the filter, if that wont fit they make a variety of them! So maybe yank out the factory airbox and put in a cone type one or something!

                    You guys are silly.. you dont need to spend the 1000's of $$ to get that ricey sound! All you need is that speaker thing that makes the psssh for you! And you can even adjust the VOLUME!! What a combination.

                        You obviously don't know what your talking about...

                        The stock aircleaner on TBI Thirdgen's is very restrictive, I gained at least 5hp by adding an open element...

                        Again it might not do anything on these because i'm not so sure there starved on air in the first place being half of a real engine and all.

                          buddy. we're talking about something COMPLETLEY different. A fake turbo noise maker.


                          BTW- the stock motor on that firebird prob. puts 170 - 180 hp to the FLY. Those motors weren't all that. i'm guessing yours is a 305? Right?

                            yes a 305 TBI, which is nothing special...

                            I was just saying Ive heard turbos and it sounds just like it, im not sure if it would sound the same on these though

                            I know it could be done (not with a round cased open element though)
