sorry, maybe my grammer is so bad!

actually, F22B had a dual runner, but just wanna ask you if the intake manifold header is same as F22A.

In my country, their is no F22a6.

Just wanna up grade the HP LOL

yep, you should be able to use the dual runner intake. The dual runner was on the f22a6 and also if you have any F22A's with no numbers after the a, they have a dual runner as well.

thats not entirely true. the "a+num" after the f22 thing is basically usdm spec...as jdm would be f22a...thats it.

the engine may be the a1 or a4 motor but there is no way to say or even evidence to say that all motors without that number after the A is a dual runner system...

like lets take this b16 motor.

        b16 is jdm

        b16a2 is usdm.

the way to tell if there is dual runners is looking at the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail and under it is a vacumn diaphram connected to the intake manifold...thats a dual runner sysstem.

a single runner system wont have any of that...
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Interesting, I didnt know that they made the jdm f22a's with both single and dual runner intakes. Mine definatly came with the dual, thankfully, i just kinda assumed they were all the same since the codes were the same.

F22B Japan actually is twincam version. Hope it will fit in F22a header.

the fuel pressure regulator, injector are same as f22a or something.

accordztech you are right about that a+num. The spec is same, but vacuum that open and close the butterfly are the diffrent part. thats the diffrent from a1 to a4. The a6 had a dual runner.

But, my problem is, the intake manifold i had bought is from twincam version. Hope it same as the singlecam version. That all.

Maybe dwf137 are another version of dual runner. Who`s know!

For you people, thanks for helping me. I`m just interesting about the dual runner intake couse my F22a1 is 125hp only.

I`ll send some picture to you guys if my project are done.

                hello again.

                my project is 80% finish.
Forgot to take some picture. The intake manifold from F22B DOCH is same as all CB7. I`m just replace the gasket manifold.

Only the intake manifold is high a little bit from the original F22a1.But it dosent matter. My target is to make it so powerfull .
I`ll hope i can send u some foto.Need to borrow from my freind.

Last, i`m just using bypass intake from the f22a1. The butterfly will open at 4k and it sound pretty good!

Just wondering, maybe the ECU from SI or EX had some ratio wen the butterfly is open.meening is the air intake and the gas mixed perfectly wen the butterfly open. Some one can give some answer?

                See you soon
