Hi guyz i totaled my cb7 today. I need to know how hard it is to replace the radiator support assembly.if it needs to be welded in and about how much a shop would charge. i can get the whole thing for $90 bux. I am gonna buy the car back from insurance company cuz i just dumped $5,000 in to it.

Where in MA are you from I am parting out my car and you can pick parts up local. And did you tell them you put a lot in to it before the accident beacuse they will change the value of the car and give you more money sometimes.

buy it back!!!!! Then switch the parts to a UN-Salvaged car, and sell the salvaged one!.

Anyways. I think your talking about the entire front metal piece that kinda looks like and H sideways.

If so, yes. You must replace it with welding.. I paid 100 bucks, but that was cheap.

        Maybee 300 tops.
        Noobie my ASS.

Heres what parts it took to get it to the state of the pics right below the damage:

              Battery
              Main Fuse
              Headlight
Just the middle part of the rad support(right behind grille)
              Radiator

Those first pics of it right after the damage was fixed.. I did all of that work in about 2 days between finals in my college parking lot w/just some standard tools while it was snowing. To get it to the state it is now.. found a hood, and for the rad support, i just bent the parts above the headlights back and flattened them as much as possible.

I used a winch type thing and connected it to another car, and pulled it back to shape. Works fine for now. The only thing is.. the bottom crossmember was bent back and up, so the a/c condensor radiator thing(the smaller radiator) would not fit there anymore. Also, the radiator doesnt sit in the two places where its supposed to. But i have been driving it for about a year now w/no problems.
