how many harnesses do u need? Is the dash harness necessary or only cuz u wanted the controls? Also i already have an interior harness an door locks/windows so all i need is the engine harness correct?? i got IAB so i dont need another harness for that one is from an SE so it shud have all the pins wired. so my main ? is the dash harness is it necessary i dont wanna rip a dash @ a JY the engine one is much ezier?

          you need the following harnesses:

          -main harness (very huge)
          -door harnesses (4)
          -possibly dash harness

i don't recall why i had to swap the dash harness. i obviously needed it for the ex/exr controls & heater box but there was another more important reason which eludes me right now. well regardless, the dash will be off anyway and it wasn't hard to swap at all (once the dash is out). the hardest was the main harness since it goes all the way from the trunk through the firewall (seats, carpet and dash has to be stripped) into the front bumper for the horn and headlights. you won't be able to get this harness off/on unless the car is up on stands or the front bumper is off. no engine harness is required.
