H23 intake swap, idle prob. HELP

ok so i did the H23 intake swap today onto my F22A1 i got it all together and when i started the car up the idle was dropping down to 700rpm's and then it would jump up to 4000rpm's. i messed with turning the idle screw in and out but that did nothing but make it worse,

I stuck my finger in the throttle body while the car was running and plugged of the port that allows the idle air to pass thru when the throttle is closed and that dropped the idle down to like 1200rpm's.

im justr wondering WTF the deal is with the idle problems?!

could it be that the coolant lines are maybe backwards or just routed wrong?

    please help me out ASAP!

yeah.. have you checked the white screw looking thing inside ?? also check the coolant level too and make sure it was bled properly.

ok i took the valve out underneath the throttle body and opened it up and the plunger was just loose shaking around on the inside of the housing.

i got the mani off the car so when i put it back together tommorow i hope the new valve i put in will fix it!

also check the lines...all vaccum lines should have slack so they wont tear, cause vaccum leaks will cause irratic idle..i jus did the swap 3weeks ago and the idle was drivin me nuts till i realized it was just vaccum hoses...

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.
