Is it coming from where the reverse switch/dizzy plugs are coming from? Or does it go back further into the harness? Its definately a plug for some sort of solenoid. I think the ex's had some sort of solenoid in the stock intake system(not talking about the iabs)

directly to ecu. The only other wires in that harness are abs related.

Should of worded it differently. They go directly into the car. I can follow them all the way to the ecu. I have my own accord and I just looked and that plug goes to the stock resonator. Is it needed? What is its function?

It's some solenoid used to quiet down the intake. Its useless unless you like bitching like a 60 year old.
