    Car is F'd

    My car turns over but wont start. I'm getting fuel. I changed the distributor,ignitor,ignition coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, Main relay, ECU. pretty much everything i thought it could be anybody know what this might be??

    What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

    You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

        Have you checked the timing? How about compression?

        on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
        where you been, is something wrong?
        i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

          havent check the timing or compression i am going to do it tomorrow after school. I need this thing running so anything you guys think can be a problem let me know

            do you have a fuel pressure gauge? if the filter is clogged or the pump is dying it may not be getting enough.

                yeah my car....when i did my Headgasket, the timing was like 3 teeth off, and it would just crank and crank. I adjusted the timing correctly and then it fired up right away.

                  back from basic.... off to ait.... CB still being worked on i have mad plans for it .. sorry cant tell its on the hush hush for now but all i can say in somewhere around 500 hp soon to come..

                    Double and triple check the fuel.... if its a main relay it might work when you check but not when you try to start it... i read this everywhere.

                      i know that it sounds dumb, but double check to make sure all the plug wires are firmly seated in the tubes. I was freaking out one day because my car wouldnt start, but i just pressed down on all of the caps and twisted a little on both ends of the cables, went back and it started just fine. Probably not it, but it doesnt hurt to check those little things. Make sure you can hear the fuel pump pressurizing too, usually its obvious that your getting fuel when you try to start it since you can smell it.

                          check the firing order of the spark plugs lmao, i made that mistake.. i was in the same situation!

                            how do u know ur getting fuel? just curious... cuz i was getting fuel to the rail and thought i was getting fuel cuz i could smell it etc when the injectors werent firing because of the injector resistor box... id double check that just to be sure.

                              this happened to me when i was changing out my plugs, wires, seals, ignitor chip...

                              turn the thing that rotates on your dizzy 180 degrees. that should fix it.
