RPM Problem .

Hi, my father's friend has a honda accord 1991 and when the car is around 100 km/h (60 mph) on the highway, the rpm is going crazy , passing high to low rpm ... What could be the problem ?!?

kinda sounds like the igniter going bad.

does it only do it when he's traveling that fast?

also ask him if it's auto or 5spd. that'll help shed some more light onto this.
