Don't most under drive pulleys go on the accesories? NOT the crank? That would seem alot easier to me... And what you need for that? One big ass 1/2" impact gun and at least 125 PSI to drive it.

so those bolts are right-hand threaded or left-hand threaded. b/c i know in some situations it's better to use left-hand threaded so the thing will only tighten but not loosen under use, depending on the situation.

I know this to be untrue. I have an Unorthodox crank pulley and AEM accessory pullies as well.

lilchubbz05, if you can take you car to a "shop" and have them lossen the pulley for you, that may help. Just have them "snug" the bolt back on so you can drive home. Make sure to tip the mechanic for his time though... a couple of bucks is worth the hassle. Also, there is a tool availible from Snap-on that attaches to a 1/2 breaker bar. this is designed to hold the crank pulley while anothe breaker bar is used to loosen the bolt. I believe the tool is about $50. It is expensive, but then you will always have the tool... so you can charge your friends rental fees to loan it to them.

Heat? Impact wrenches? your poor cranks and seals, lol. The tool that 2point6 mentioned is the only way to in my opinion if you don't have any way to lock the flywheel/flexplate from moving. Even with the tool sometimes you need to people to break it loss.

I run the AEM pulleys on the accessories and I use an Unorthodox crank pulley as well. I think they work great. I don't have a stereo system though so I don't worry about voltage issues.

What size belts is everybody using? I've got the crank pulley, but will be keeping the stock accessory pulleys. Should I still use the same numbers Gates belts everybody else is using?

You may need a different belt. The adjuster may not be able to take the slack up of the smaller crank pulley. You'll probably need a belt a half an inch shorter.

ok, cause i just check the autozone to see if they carry the belt the guy at the top of the thread suggested, and they do.
long as its not hard to find one
