ok it's hot in my car....

man, I know it's summer but my cb7 is especially hot inside the car. What gives? Is it the burgandy interior, or is there somekind of heat shield thats under the car that may be missing. I need to convert and recharge my a/c also. Let me know something...

Try black leather no AC after the car has been sitting under the sun all day.

The ONLY reason i DONT want black leather.

I feel ya too. Try tinting the windows and getting one of those windshiled sunblockers. Might look goofy, but they actually help cut down a bit.

          And yeah, cold AC ftw.

tint really helps out a lot. my sister's car has NO tint and it sucks. But yeah recharge your R12 and you'll be good to go. I just did that to mine and its like heaven inside when i come in all hot.

tint with UV protection is best because it doesnt just block light but uv rays. I hear you can even have clear UV tint put on your car and you'll still be cool.

Also invest in a windshield cover it helps A LOT.

                    I should be honest...

Tint helps, but not that much. Unless its UV tint like ikayto said. I have 20% on the rear and 35% on the front and it still gets pretty nasty inside. I guess couple that up with the windshiled cover and it helps cut down a bit.

i have 15% all around, i dont think it helps one bit. i think it might actually make it worse seeing as how its black on the outside. black absorbs heat, am i right? i dunno, just rambling.

try removing the headliner i found that out by accident my real reason for taking it out is bcuz i'm re-doing my interior mi car could be parked in the sun on 107 degree heat and be like 75 in the car.

ok a/c kicks fans on but....

ok I turned the a/c on and the fans come, and the rpms move for a sec but the clutch doesn't kick in, the little gray plug at the bottom is plugged up, and the one at the top with the blue/yellow and the blue/black plug is in. When I remove the one with 2 wires the fan turns off so I guess it's doing its job. I checked my r12 and its full any suggestions, man it's like the 1st level of hell in my cb, Thank God I'm saved.
